About Me
I have a B.S. in biology from Boston College and an M.S. in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut. At the moment, I would say that it’s safe to call me a scientist, but my love of science is also deeply intertwined with my creative pursuits, especially my writing.
Creative Pursuits
I have always been passionately creative and am currently working on photography, art, and writing. Currently I am most working most actively on my writing and on getting back into oil painting.
Other Pursuits
When I’m not in the lab or working on a creative project, I like to spend my time outdoors. I love to hike, especially with my dog. I also love horseback riding, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding.
The time that I spend out in beautiful New England landscapes heavily fuels my creative pursuits.

I love trees, especially very large trees! I could look at them all day!
